Plenty of good bags have been coming off the Old Pool this week with tench, Carp and bream now starting to feed after spawning. Tench have been taken up to 7lb with 4 over the 6lb mark from pegs all over the lake, some of the better bream have also shown up on the banks. Pegs 1-9 have fished well again either on the pole or the feeder to the middle or on the island, Lots have fish have now moved into the woods pegs11-15 as reeds have been planted between each peg offering the fish some cover and boy do they like it. Fishing close in on the pole has been great with some of the fish feeding better in the shade under the trees or reeds, Chopped worm has produced a lot of fish as well as Red Maggot, Corn and Meat. The fishing has been a lot better in the morning or later on in the evenings as the sun has been so hot during the middle of the day the fish have haven't been feeding so be patient or come nice and early or later on in the day.
